All Time Low Post New Single PMA Featuring Pale Waves

Friday, 30 July 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

All Time Low have shared a collaborative single with Pale Waves.

Following up Once In A Lifetime, PMA finds the pop-punks working with long-time collaborator and producer Zakk Cervini.

Bursting with upbeat, energetic hooks, it sees the two vocalists going back to back on verses, while leaning into refreshing pop influences brought to the track by Heather Baron-Gracie. All Time Low singer Alex Gaskarth said:

"PMA is a journey into isolation and overstimulation. It’s about the little mundane things we do to keep ourselves distracted when loneliness becomes a constant and leaves us feeling apathetic. It's existential dread wrapped in nervous laughter kissed by the SoCal sun. Heather and Palewaves joining us on this one quite literally brings the hopeful shine to the lyrics, the promise of safety in the shared experience, the understanding we’re all living it together."

Baron-Gracie added: "I was really happy that Alex asked me to be on the track as I’ve always been a big fan of All Time Low and I loved the song when he sent it over. I really related to the themes, especially the exhausting worry that you’re never doing / being enough in life."

All Time Low will headline the rearranged Sad Summer Fest, which heads to major US cities this summer. They also appear at Chicago's Lollapalooza and Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, along with rescheduled UK dates in September.

Pale Waves, meanwhile, dropped their second album, 'Who Am I?', in February via Dirty Hit. They'll support it with a UK and Ireland tour early in 2022.
