Following The Last Red-Eye, the fast-paced, predictably energetic Backseat marks the second new cut shared from the upcoming deluxe version of the pop-punk legends' 2020 10th album, 'Forever & Ever X Infinity…and Beyond'.
Out on September 3 via Hopeless Records, the expanded edition features the original tracklist along with six new tunes that the band wrote and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guitarist Chad Gilbert said:
"We are pumped to announce the deluxe version of our 10th album, now called 'Forever and Ever X Infinity … and Beyond'!! The new and improved version features six new songs on the album which takes it to 21 songs for 2021! You all have been playing the heck out of this record and showing it so much love over the last year, and now that we actually get to tour it soon, we wanted to reignite it's energy and fire!"
New Found Glory will tour the US with Simple Plan on the Pop Punk's Still Not Dead Tour beginning later in August. Support will come from special guest LØLØ, and tickets are on sale now.
