KISS Announce Las Vegas Residency, Confirm David Lee Roth No Longer Support On US Tour

KISS have shared details of their final Las Vegas residency.
The legendary rock band have lined up 12 shows at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's Zappos Theater, starting on December 29.
In addition to performances on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, the run includes shows up to early February, marking their first residency on the strip since 2014 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Tickets go on sale at 10am local time on August 20.
KISS have also confirmed that David Lee Roth will no longer provide support on the band's upcoming North American leg of their End Of The Road World Tour, which will resume tomorrow (August 18) in Mansfield, Massachusetts. He has been replaced by performance painter David Garibaldi. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, bassist Gene Simmons revealed the news without giving a reason. He said:
"He was the ultimate frontman. Not Plant, not Rod Stewart, nobody. He took being a frontman way beyond anything. And then, I don’t know what happened to him… something. And you get modern-day Dave. I prefer to remember Elvis Presley in his prime. Sneering lips, back in Memphis, you know, doing all that. I don’t want to think of bloated naked Elvis on the bathroom floor."
The European leg, meanwhile, will take place in summer 2022, when they'll also headline the UK's Download Festival.
