Young Thug Posts New Single Tick Tock From Upcoming Album 'Punk'

Friday, 20 August 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Young Thug has dropped a new single.

Tick Tock serves as the first taster of the Atlanta rapper's upcoming sophomore album, 'Punk', the follow-up to 2019's 'So Much Fun', which is slated for release on October 15.

Anchored by bassy beats and buoyant, stabbing synths, the bouncy track finds the 30-year-old delivering a punchy flow about his lifestyle in the limelight. It comes with a video directed Emil Nava, viewable below.

It first debuted during Thugger's set at Rolling Loud in Miami in July. He also performed the song with a full band during his Tiny Desk (At Home) concert along with new cuts Die Slow, Droppin Jewels, Hate The Game, and Ski.

Young Thug and his Young Stoner Life Records dropped the collaborative LP, 'Slime Language 2', earlier in 2021.
