Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds Share Previously Unreleased Song Earthlings

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have shared a previously unreleased track.
Earthlings was recorded during the 2018 and 2019 sessions for the band's latest studio album, 2019's 'Ghosteen'. Cave said:
"Earthlings is the missing link that binds Ghosteen together. A lovely song that just got away…"
The song has a maudlin tone that is complented by the simple yet powerful orchestral backdrop. "I thought these songs would one day set me free," sings Cave.
The track will feature on 'B-Sides & Rarities Part II', which is due out on October 22.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will embark on a short European tour next year. Prior to that, Cave and Warren Ellis will embark on a UK tour of their own this autumn.
In February of this year, they released 'Carnage', which was recorded over a couple of weeks during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the 7" single Grief.
