Bring Me The Horizon Post New Song Die4u

Friday, 17 September 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Bring Me The Horizon are back with a new song, Die4u.

The track follows the Sheffield rock giant's 'Post Horror: Human Survival' EP, released in October 2020, and serves as the first release in a new succession of singles as part of their ongoing Post Human project.

Arriving after weeks of online teasers, the dark, hard-hitting, electro-leaning number is more melodic than the quintet's previous material. Head below to view the brutal accompanying video directed by frontman Oli Sykes. He said:

"Die4u is a song about toxic obsessions, vices and things you can't kick. I think a lot of people went through very similar struggles while in lockdown, coming face to face with yourself and seeing who you really are and what’s important.

"The song is a triumphant and emotional one for me because it was a time of realization to kick the things that were no good, and to take the choice in bettering myself. It also connects to a deeper theme about us as a society, and how we need to look at the way we treat ourselves, each other as well as the world."

The band will embark on their Post Human: Survival Horror UK Tour later in September, and play a rescheduled intimate gig at Pryzm in Kingston, London on October 5.
