HEALTH Post Poppy Collaboration Dead Flowers

Thursday, 21 October 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

HEALTH have dropped a collaboration with Poppy.

Dead Flowers offers an industrial, bleak, brooding aesthetic, that builds suspense through the shapeshifting artist's ethereal vocals that switch to violent screams towards the track's climax.

It arrives with an equally atmospheric black and white video, and will appear on the Los Angeles noise band's forthcoming album, 'DISCO4 :: PART II', the follow-up to 2020's 'DISCO4 :: PART I'.

Earlier in 2021, HEALTH reimagined Perturbator's Excess. They also teamed up with Deftones frontman Chino Moreno on Anti-Life and Nine Inch Nails on Isn't Everyone. Poppy, meanwhile, put out her fourth album, 'Flux', in September.
