Jamie Webster Confirms Liverpool M&S Bank Arena Show For Autumn 2022, Shares New Single Davey Kane

Jamie Webster has announced his biggest headline show to date.
The folk singer-songwriter will take over the M&S Bank Arena in his hometown of Liverpool on November 19, 2022, with tickets on general sale at 10am on October 29. Confirming the news with a post on social media, he said:
"I can't believe I'm writing this... Been dreaming of this since I went to my first gig there with my mum when I was a kid. Shows you what you can achieve when you work hard and follow your dreams. Not to mention having an unbelievable team around me who helped make this happen, and last but not least I wouldn't have the opportunity to do this without having built up an amazing fan base that consists of all you lovely people. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. And now let's sell the bastard out!"
The news comes ahead of his rescheduled UK and Ireland tour this November and December, as well as the release of his second album, 'Moments', due out on January 28.
Webster has also dropped his third single of 2021, Davey Kane. The spaghetti western-inspired track serves as the opening track off the record, combining strings and keys as Webster calls for reform of the British criminal justice system.
Commenting on the song, he added: "With the high level of crime and corruption in government and business, why are the working-class people the only ones who have to live in the shadows of their previous and, in most cases, petty crimes? Prisons in the UK have a "lock them up and throw away the key" mentality with no real effort made to change people’s situations. Davey Kane being locked in a cold and grey cell does neither him nor society any favours once he gets on the outside."
