Two iconic names in music will headline the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas over one weekend next February.

Thrash icons Metallica will take over the new state-of-the-art venue adjacent to the world-famous Strip on February 25, joined by special guests Greta Van Fleet.

Following that, the legendary Billy Joel will perform on February 26, celebrating his first stadium concert in the city. Tickets for both performances go on general sale at 10am local time on October 29.

Metallica play North American festivals this autumn, followed by two hometown shows at San Francisco's Chase Center in December, the main event of their ongoing 40th birthday celebrations. In September, they marked 30 years of their classic self-titled album, known as 'The Black Album', with a remastered reissue, along with 'The Metallica Blacklist', a 53-track covers compilation.

They'll also headline Download Festival Germany, Prague Rocks and Madrid's Mad Cool Festival throughout summer 2022.
