Pavement Detail Expanded Deluxe Reissue Of 'Terror Twilight', Share Unheard Song Be The Hook

Pavement have announced an expanded deluxe reissue of their final album, 1999's 'Terror Twilight'.
After teasing it in 2021, Matador Records have revealed that 'Terror Twilight: Farewell Horizontal' will arrive on April 8.
Featuring 45 tracks across four LPs, including the original 11 songs, plus b-sides, live tracks, and material from Pavement's scrapped session at Sonic Youth's Echo Canyon studio, it's the last of the influential quintet's records to be remastered.
Available as a two-CD and a four-LP set, the latter version will feature producer Nigel Godrich's original suggested tracklist, while the former retains the 1999 running order.
The band have previewed the release by sharing the previously unheard cut Be The Hook, a minimal track that unfurls around a slow groove, anchored by an infectious guitar riff. Press play below.
Pavement will reunite for appearances at Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona and NOS Primavera Sound in Porto this summer. Following that, they'll embark on a North American trek in September, before UK and European dates in October.
