Foo Fighters have cancelled all of their upcoming tour dates.

Following the recent death of their drummer Taylor Hawkins, the band released a statement explaining that due to the "devastating loss" of their bandmate they would need some time to grieve.

"It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We're sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won't be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let's take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we've made together. With love, Foo Fighters."

Hawkins passed away on March 25 aged 50. No cause of death has been revealed. There has been an outpouring of tributes from the music world since the news broke, including sombre words from Ozzy Osbourne, Questlove and Brian May.

Foo Fighters put out their latest album, ’Medicine At Midnight’, in 2021. This February they released their debut film, the comedy-horror Studio 666.
