Tove Lo has announced UK and European shows for the autumn.
The Sweden-born, Los Angeles-based star will call in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London between October 29 and November 5, followed by dates across mainland Europe. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 6.
After returning in January with the track How Long, the singer recently teased another single called No One Dies From Love, unveiling a 20-second snippet of the pulsating, electro-pop song and its accompanying video, which will premiere at 6:30pm today (May 3).
Co-written with longtime collaborator Ludvig Söderberg, the dancefloor-ready offering is about, "when you’re with someone for a long time and it ends all of a sudden, it’s like a part of you has died," Lo said. "This person is now a stranger to you. All of the memories are tainted. For the first part of the breakup, you believe you’re not supposed to feel good about anything you had together. What I believe I do best is ‘heartbreak you can dance to.’ The song is that."
Speaking about the upcoming video, which was filmed in Mexico City and directed by the Brazilian duo Alaska, she added: "All the songs on the album are very cinematic, dramatic and grand, so for the visual story I want to attach a character to each song. For No One Dies From Love it's the classic vulnerable, lonely starlet looking for connection. This mini movie is a different kind of love story."
Her last album was 2019's 'Sunshine Kitty'.
