The Irish singer-songwriter’s biggest ever tour to date will kick off on March 31 in Glasgow and wrap up at The O2 in London on April 14. Other stops on the UK leg include arenas in Aberdeen, Brighton, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham.
As part of the run, he’ll also play shows across Europe, along with two huge headline gigs at Dublin’s Marlay Park in June.
The trek shares its name with his second album, which is due out on November 4 via Island Records/Interscope. Alongside the dates, he’s shared the new single Innocence and Sadness, a gentle piano-based love song. Commenting on it, he said:
"It’s impossible for me to express how much this song means to me. I wrote this song on the piano in my parents’ house. ’Innocence and sadness in the same night’ means I cling to my childlike sense of wonder while learning how to face all the challenges of life. All in search of steady rhythm joy. Reliable and true joy."
The record will also feature the ballads Kiss Me, Better Days, and Dreamer, which were released earlier in 2022. Following the record’s release, he’ll play a handful of intimate acoustic UK shows.
