Beabadoobee is the final ambassador to be announced for Independent Venue Week.

The singer-songwriter joins the previously confirmed ambassadors for next year; Radiohead's Philip Selway, and regional ambassadors Young Fathers (Scotland), and Adwaith (Wales).

The annual event will celebrate its 10th anniversary between January 30 and February 5, with over 1,000 live events scheduled across more than 260 venues around the country. The 22-year-old said:

"I’m extremely proud to be an Ambassador of Independent Venue Week. These venues are so important at giving young emerging artists a starting point in their career. I will never forget my first gig at The Boileroom in Guildford where I jumped on stage with my friends for three songs or my first proper Beabadoobee headline show at the Old Pancras Church in Kings Cross. My first and earliest gigs will always be some of my most precious memories. We need to do our best to keep these venues up and running and I want to help shine a light on how important independent venues really are to artists’ careers."

Beabadoobee is among the big names set to play an intimate London show for BRITs Week presented by Mastercard for War Child. Taking place in January and February, other acts confirmed for the series include Years & Years, Kojey Radical, Frank Turner, The Hunna, Rina Sawayama and more.

She'll continue to support her new album with The Beatopia Tour across Europe in March 2023. Head here for details. The trek shares its name with her second album, released back in July via Dirty Hit. She'll also join Taylor Swift at select stadium dates of her Eras Tour in April.
