Sleaford Mods Share New Track Force 10 From Navarone Featuring Dry Cleaning's Florence Shaw

Sleaford Mods have shared a new single, Force 10 From Navarone.
Featuring guest vocals from Dry Cleaning's Florence Shaw, the track shows a softer side to the Nottingham duo's sound, while lyrically exploring life's anxieties. It marks the latest preview of their upcoming album, 'UK GRIM', which is scheduled to arrive on March 10 via Rough Trade Records. Jason Williamson said:
"The track is a conversation with myself coming to terms with happiness and whether it is in fact a darker space than my negativity and depression. Coupled with that it explores the myth of activism and inaction of the majority in the UK in the presence of a corrupt government."
He added: "We’re big fans of Dry Cleaning and knew Flo would be perfect for the track. She’s the real deal and conjures the inspiration I get from the likes of Wu-Tang in the way she uses one word to convey a whole story."
It follows the record's first single, and title track, which was released in January alongside details of the record. Other guests set to feature on the tracklist include Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro.
Sleaford Mods will play intimate gigs in Nottingham and London following the release of the LP. They've also confirmed a run of North American shows around their appearance at Coachella in California in April.
