Madonna Adds US Dates To The Celebration Tour Including Nashville Show Benefitting Trans Rights

Madonna has added eight new dates to the second North American leg of The Celebration Tour.
The pop icon has confirmed new December shows in Washington, Philadelphia, and Nashville, where a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to trans rights organizations. This comes ahead of a new Tennessee law restricting drag performances, which goes into effect on April 1.
Following that, she'll her head to Palm Springs, Sacramento, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Phoenix between January 11 and 20, 2024.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on March 31. Announcing the new run, Madonna said in a statement:
"The oppression of the LGBTQ+ is not only unacceptable and inhumane; it’s creating an unsafe environment; it makes America a dangerous place for our most vulnerable citizens, especially trans women of color.
"Also, these so-called laws to protect our children are unfounded and pathetic. Anyone with half a brain knows not to fuck with a drag queen. Bob and I will see you from the stage in Nashville where we will celebrate the beauty that is the queer community."
The trek will kick off with the first North American leg this summer, which includes four nights at New York City's Madison Square Garden in August. New shows for the second leg were recently added at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on December 13 and 14, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on January 7 and 8, 2024.
The UK and European leg will commence in October and includes six nights at The O2 in London, along with stops in Antwerp, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Cologne, Milan, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
