James Line Up Summer Date In Wolverhampton

James have announced a summer show in Wolverhampton.

Following their spring orchestral James Lasted Tour, the Manchester band will take over The Halls on June 20, preceding multiple festival appearances and headline gigs this summer. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on March 31.

The announcement follows news of a double album in celebration of their 40th anniversary, 'Be Opened By The Wonderful - 40 Years Orchestrated', which will arrive on June 9 via Virgin Music. It'll contain 20 of the group's most popular and rare tracks reworked with a 22-piece orchestra and eight-piece choir.

As part of the celebrations behind the milestone, James will headline London's South Facing Festival on August 11, joined by special guests Happy Mondays. They'll also appear on the Sunday at Latitude Festival, where they'll play a specially created slot accompanied by an orchestra and choir.

They released their latest studio album, 'All The Colours Of You', in 2021.
