Simply Red Continue To Tease 'Time' With New Single Just Like You

Simply Red have released a new single.
Following Better With You, Just Like You serves as the latest taster of the Manchester band's upcoming album, 'Time', which is scheduled to arrive on May 26.
Driven by a funk-inspired bass and guitar groove, the track comes with a live performance video directed by Jackson Ducasse. Frontman Mick Hucknall said:
"When I started writing Just Like You, I was two thirds of the way through the album. I remember walking into my bedroom and saying: 'It would be great to have a funky bassline.' I had my phone with me, and I just pressed record, and just sang that bassline pretty much as it was into my phone. I was working it out in my head as I played it."
Simply Red recently announced details of a London concert at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on June 5, with tickets on general sale at 10am on May 4. Following the UK date, they'll hit the road for on a previously scheduled run of shows across Europe.
