Mellt have shared details of their second album.

The Cardiff trio will release 'Dim Dwywaith' ('Not Twice') on October 27, following up their Welsh Language Album of the Year-winning, and Welsh Music Prize-nominated 2018 debut 'Mae’n Hawdd Pan Ti’n Ifanc' ('It’s Easy When You’re Young').

To accompany the news, Glyn Rhys-James, Ellis Walker and Jacob Hodges have shared Diwrnod Arall (Another Day), an indie-rock track that reflects on modern technology.

"Does dim synnu bod e’n anodd anwybyddu. Y teclyn yn dy law sy’n gwrando ar ti nawr" ("No wonder it’s hard to ignore. The device in your hand is listening to you now,") guitarist and vocalist Rhys-James sings. Expanding on the song, he said:

"It sounds quite serious when we say [things like that], but I think it is littered with quite funny lines as well, and things that kinda take the edge off of it. We don’t pretend to have all the answers to all the problems that we talk about. But I think there’s this element of humour that brings it down to earth a bit more."

It'll appear on the record along with their spring single, Ceisio (Trying). The band will play Cardiff's Tafwyl this Saturday (July 15) and Eisteddfod Genedlaethol in Boduan, near Pwllheli in August.

'Dim Dwywaith' tracklist:
