Soft Play, formerly known as Slaves, are back with a new single called Punk's Dead.

The fiery banger offers some tongue-in-cheek lyrics that push back against the duo's 2022 name change. There's also a surprise appearance from Robbie Williams.

The track arrives alongside news that Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman will appear on the Festival Republic Stage at this weekend's Reading and Leeds. They'll also support The Prodigy on tour in the UK in November.

They recently played a hometown show at Tunbridge Wells Forum and headlined this summer's 2000trees festival.

They'll warm up for their festival sets with a tiny, sold out gig at Hop Yard in Sussex on Friday (August 25).
