Sufjan Stevens Shares New Single Will Anybody Ever Love Me?

Wednesday, 13 September 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Sufjan Stevens has shared a new single, Will Anybody Ever Love Me?.

The personal track couples finger-picked acoustic guitar with disarming, emotive singing, and builds through swelling orchestration and back-up vocal harmonies from fellow artists Adrienne Maree Brown, Hannah Cohen, and Megan Lui.

Following So You Are Tired, it serves as the second preview of the American singer-songwriter's new album, 'Javelin', due out on October 6. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by longtime collaborator Stephen Halker.

Stevens has also announced a number of listening parties for the record, held in various cities across the world on September 19 and October 3. Head to Stevens' official website for further details and locations.
