Cast have announced a new album.

The follow-up to 2017's 'Kicking Up The Dust' is called 'Love Is The Call' and is slated to arrive early in 2024, though a release date is still to be confirmed. It was recorded in Grenada, Spain earlier this year at Grammy Award-winning producer Youth's Space Mountain studios.

As a preview, the Liverpool band have shared the record's first single and title track, a spirited, acoustic guitar-driven indie-pop song. Introducing their first new music in six years, vocalist John Power said:

"Love Is The Call is the title track off the new Cast album. It’s a psychedelic pop song, full of bouncing rhythms with soaring melodies and harmonies. It’s a cosmic call to arms, for Love is the Call… Calling… Calling."

Power is currently on the road with his acoustic solo tour, performing fan favourites from both Cast and his solo catalogue, as well as new material. Head here for details.

He'll also perform alongside other '90s luminaries at three Britpop Classical shows across the UK in 2024.
