Waxahatchee Announces New Album 'Tigers Blood', Shares First Single Right Back To It

Waxahatchee, aka Katie Crutchfield, has announced a new album.
'Tigers Blood' marks the Alabama-born, Kansas City-based musician's first release for her new label home, ANTI-. It'll arrive on March 22, following up 2020's 'Saint Cloud' and 2022's 'Walked With You A Ways', a collaborative record she put out with Jess Williamson as Plains.
As a preview, Crutchfield has shared the single Right Back To It, an Emmylou Harris-inspired country duet with MJ Lenderman, who also contributes guitar and vocal harmonies. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Corbett Jones and Nick Simonite.
The singer-songwriter will support the record with North American shows throughout the spring and summer. The first round of dates kicks off with a hometown show at Kansas City's Uptown Theater on April 18 and the second on August 19 at the Treefort Music Hall in Boise, Idaho.
Opening the spring shows will be Good Morning, with the second leg featuring support on select dates from Tre Burt, Tim Heidecker and The Very Good Band, Snail Mail, Gladie and Greg Mendez. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (January 12).
