Iron And Wine Tease 'Light Verse' LP With New Track Anyone's Games

Iron and Wine have shared a third single from their upcoming album.
Anyone's Game offers a lively, plucky acoustic melody underpinned by a percussive, bass-driven groove and comes paired with a stop-motion animation video directed by Callum Scott-Dyson, who said:
"I used card cutouts in terms of the stop-motion style, hand drawing the elements before cutting out and animating them. I wanted the video to explore themes of evolution, the cyclical nature of life, falling in love and break-ups, as well as life sometimes feeling like a game of chance."
The song will appear on 'Light Verse' along with the previously shared opening track You Never Know and the Fiona Apple collaboration All In Good Time.
Sam Beam’s first full-length Iron and Wine release in over seven years will arrive through Sub Pop on April 26.
Iron and Wine will support the record with a North American tour this summer, followed by UK and European dates in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
