The Zutons Post Title Track Of New Album 'The Big Decider'

The Zutons have shared the title track of their upcoming album.
With 'The Big Decider' set to arrive on April 26 via ICEPOP, the upbeat indie-pop stomper offers soulful vocal harmonies and follows the previously unveiled cuts from the record Pauline and Creeping On The Dancefloor. Lead vocalist Dave McCabe commented:
"Ian Broudie told me the demo of Big Decider brought a tear to his eye and that’s why he said yes to working with us again, he’d been retired from producing for over a decade so we're proud to say we brought him out of retirement. It was one of the first songs we wrote for the album so getting that reaction from Ian made me feel like we were doing something right. The song is about taking chances in life when they come along, but also about being careful and learning from your mistakes in the past. For me it’s like a fair ride to Vegas, and hopefully a win at the end."
The follow-up to 2008's 'You Can Do Anything' was recorded at London's famous Abbey Road Studios with Lightning Seeds' Broudie and funk legend Nile Rodgers behind the control desk.
Having played intimate shows through January, February and March, the Liverpool band will support the LP's release with another round of UK tour dates beginning later in April. They'll also support Madness at a Summer Sessions show in Plymouth on June 15, before a performance at Uptown Festival in London on July 28.
They've also announced new September dates for their first return to North America since 2006. Tickets for those shows go on general sale at 10am local time today (April 5).
