Kamasi Washington Drops New Single Get Lit Featuring George Clinton And D Smoke

Kamasi Washington has shared another single ahead of the release of his new album.

Funk legend George Clinton and rapper D Smoke take the mic on Get Lit, which serves as the final preview of 'Fearless Movement', due out this Friday (May 3).

Offering hypnotic production and a dancey groove, the jazzy bop will be joined on the record by the previously unveiled closing track Prologue and the meditative Dream State featuring André 3000. It'll also include The Garden Path, a song Washington shared back in 2022.

The jazz multi-instrumentalist and composer will support the LP with a North American tour in May and June, followed by UK and European dates in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
