The follow-up to 2021's 'And Then Life Was Beautiful' is titled 'Jupiter' and will arrive on February 21. It'll feature her recent Stint-produced single Elevate, which blends elements of R&B and soul, and Wildflowers, which landed in October.
As to themes of the album, Nao shared: "'Jupiter' is joyful; it’s the planet of growth, expansion and personal transformation. I wanted to make a record that embodied all of these things so that hopefully when you listen to it you’ll feel a beautiful shift in your own vibration of joy."
On Elevate, she added: "Elevate captures the intoxicating feeling of love. It describes a relationship so powerful it feels addictive, yet freeing, like floating without fear of falling. I wanted it to sound euphoric, which is why we have this soaring, Prince-like guitar solo, beautifully played by my guitarist, Andy Vickery."
Nao performed in Los Angeles and New York earlier this month and has intimate shows coming up in Amsterdam and London, where she'll play Hackney’s Round Chapel on November 27. Tickets are on sale now.
