Adwaith Announce Third Album 'Solas' With New Single Miliwn, Confirm UK & European Tour

Adwaith have announced their third studio album.
The Welsh trio, Hollie Singer, Gwenllian Anthony, and Heledd Owen, will release 'Solas' via Libertino Records on February 7, completing a coming-of-age trilogy that commenced with their 2018 Welsh Music Prize-winning 'Melyn' and continued with 2022's 'Bato Mato', which also scooped the award.
Comprising 23 tracks, the record sees the indie-rock group breaking new ground, becoming the first female Welsh-language band to release a double album. Singer said:
"I feel like we’re confident in ourselves as musicians, and our sound, and the world that we want to create. We feel fully realised."
As a preview, they've shared the first single, Miliwn, which sees the band shifting from their post-punk influences and exploring more danceable rhythmical territory. Introducing the track, they explained: "Miliwn is a song about realising how little time we have on this planet, and encourages you to give your energy and love to people and places that make you feel good. It’s a reminder to celebrate your small wins and romanticise your life in any way you can."
Adwaith will accompany the record's release with tour dates across the UK and Europe.
