Mae Martin Announces Debut Album 'I'm A TV' And Accompanying Tour Dates

Wednesday, 29 January 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Mae Martin has announced their debut album.

The award-winning comedian, actor, podcast host and singer-songwriter will release 'I'm A TV' on February 27. Written entirely by Martin, and produced by Jason Couse and Wes Marskell of The Darcys, it's previewed by two indie-pop tracks, the hazy, acoustic Good Dream and the slow-burning Stowaway. Martin said in a statement:

"I've been writing songs since I was a teenager, with no intention of ever sharing them. But it took moving to L.A. a couple of years ago and really having some time to sit alone in a rented apartment to reconnect with that Toronto teen. I didn't realize how badly I wanted to sit with an acoustic guitar by myself and get to say what I wanted to say without the pressure to find a punchline."

They'll support the album with shows in Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and London between February 26 and March 9. Tickets are on sale now. They also have a rescheduled gig in Los Angeles in the diary for February 8.

'I'm a TV' tracklist:

1. Try Me
2. Good Dream
3. Big Bear
4. Stowaway
5. I Love You So Much
