Selena Gomez And Benny Blanco Announce Collaborative Album And Share First Single

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have announced a joint project.
The engaged couple will release the collaborative album 'I Said I Love You First' on March 21. They've previewed it with the first single, Scared of Loving You, a candidly heartfelt and pared-back, acoustic guitar-led song. It was written by the pair with Finneas, who also produced it with Blanco. Check out its lyric video below, alongside the album artwork.
A description of the record on Gomez's website reads: "The album celebrates the pair's love story, giving fans a unique window into their relationship. This album came together organically as a direct result of the comfort that they both felt when together creatively, allowing them to produce art that authentically reflects their experiences. It chronicles their entire story - before they met, falling in love, and looking to what the future holds."
Those who pre-order the album via the Official UK Selena Gomez store before 9am on February 16 will be put into a lottery to possibly win access (with a +1) to an exclusive fan event in London on February 18.
Gomez's last album was 2020's 'Rare', though she has released standalone singles since then, the latest being 2024's Love On.
Producer and songwriter Blanco, meanwhile, put out his last LP, 'Friends Keep Secrets 2', in 2021. The record is an extension of his 2018 album 'Friends Keep Secrets'. Like his fiancé, he's shared a steady stream of singles following those releases, with the most recent being the collaboration DEGENERE with Myke Towers in October 2024.
