Anne-Marie has returned with a new EP.
'If You're Looking For A New Best Friend' is a two-track release that reflects on themes of self-care, regard for others, and purpose.
Lead track Don't Panic is an urgent, punchy pop offering with introspective lyricism that tackles anxiety, while the other song, I Don't Like Your Boyfriend, is a more dance-orientated tune. An accompanying video for the former will premiere on YouTube at 1pm GMT today (February 14). Anne-Marie said:
"These songs are intended to be the realisation that in searching for a friend, sometimes you're the only friend you'll ever need. Apart from me, I can be your best friend, right!?"
The British vocalist released her latest album, 'Unhealthy', in 2023. In 2024, she collaborated with Clean Bandit and David Guetta on the hit Cry Baby, and teamed up with Nicholas Galitzine for the track The Idea Of You.
