Chloe Moriondo has laid out plans for her fourth studio album.

The follow-up to 2022's 'Suckerpunch' is titled 'Oyster' and will arrive on March 28 via Public Consumption/ Atlantic Music Group. The Detroit artist said:

"I'm so fucking ecstatic for this album to be out. I've been yearning to release it since its conception and I’m bursting at the shell trying not to leak it all now. It’s full of vulnerability, frivolous crushes, despair, parties, and 17 billion tons of salt water. The world is my oyster, and soon it will be yours too!"

The record was written with a team of collaborators, including AfterHrs, Jonah Summerfield, whose résumé includes songwriting credits for Holly Humberstone and Tommy Lefroy, and Chloe Kraemer, who has previously worked with The Japanese House. The singer first teased it with her January single Shoreline.

To coincide with the news, Moriondo has shared Hate It, an indie-pop track that comes with a video infused with macabre humour. Introducing it, she explained: "Hate It encapsulates all the feelings of jealousy, hatred, and obsession that can come with a crush on someone unattainable, or yearning for a life that feels unattainable."

She'll support the LP with The Oyster Tour across North America in April and May. Tickets are on sale now. Head here for details.
