Mark Pritchard And Thom Yorke Announce Debut Collaborative Album 'Tall Tales'

Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke have teamed up for a collaborative album.

The British electronic producer, and frontman for Radiohead and The Smile will release 'Tall Tales' on May 9 via Warp. 

The pair previously worked together on a song called Beautiful People, from Pritchard's 2016 solo LP 'Under The Sun'. Pritchard also remixed Radiohead's track Bloom in 2011.

Last month, they shared the single Back In The Game, and today they've shared another, This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice, which offers krautrock-style beats alongside soft, eerie synths and Yorke's ghostly falsetto. Head below to view an accompanying video for the latter by visual artist Jonathan Zawada, who also designed the album's artwork.

The videos for Back In The Game and This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice form part of a feature-length film by Zawada, which is set for a one-night-only screening at select cinemas to coincide with the album's release. Further details will be unveiled soon.

Pritchard's most recent solo album is 2018's 'The Four Worlds', while Yorke put out two records with The Smile in 2024, 'Wall of Eyes' and 'Cutouts'.
