5 Seconds of Summer's Calum Hood has announced his debut solo album.

Created by the bassist and vocalist alongside a team of collaborators, including Jackson Phillips (aka Day Wave), David Burris and TMS, 'ORDER chaos ORDER' will arrive through Island EMI on June 13. Introducing the record, Hood said:

"This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing. I started out with a vision—order—but quickly became overwhelmed by the process—chaos. Eventually, I learned to embrace both, and that balance became the heart of the record."

"There are things I’ve never been able to sing about in the band—my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me," he continued. "This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way."

Introducing the record on social media, he commented: "Diving into this project has been a liberating, healing, painful, enlightening experience. It's been a journey into parts of myself I didn't even know I hadn't explored until they became this music, and I'm excited to open up this part of me to you. Welcome to my world, I hope you stay little while. There’s a lot more to come these next months."

To coincide with the news, Hood has shared his first solo single, Don't Forget You Love Me, which offers 5 Seconds Of Summer's vibrant poppy undertones while showcasing Hood's deep vocals and personal songwriting that reflects on self-worth and heartbreak.

Hood follows his 5 Seconds Of Summer bandmates Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin in branching out with solo material. Clifford recently shared his debut solo single, Cool, which Hood co-wrote. It's taken from his forthcoming debut solo LP, 'Sidequest', that's expected later this year.

Irwin, meanwhile, released his second LP, 'Blood On The Drums', in 2024, and Hemmings dropped his second solo LP 'Boy' that same year.

5SOS, meanwhile, released their most recent studio album, and fifth overall, '5SOS5', in 2022, which was followed by 'The Feeling Of Falling Upwards (Live from The Royal Albert Hall)' in 2023.

'ORDER chaos ORDER' tracklist:

1. Don’t Forget You Love Me

3. Sweetdreams
4. I Wanted To Stay
5. Sunsetter
6. All My Affection
