Slaughter To Prevail Share New Single Russian Grizzly In America From Third Album 'Grizzly'

Thursday, 24 April 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Slaughter To Prevail have laid out plans for their third album.

The Russian deathcore heavyweights will release 'Grizzly' through Sumerian Records on July 18, following up 2021's 'Kostolom'. Frontman Alex Terrible said:

"I think this is the best album we have ever written. We put so much effort into it. We spent a lot of time on every detail and really poured our souls into the songs. In the past, we were always rushing to finish albums and just releasing whatever we had. This time, we took our time, worked carefully on each track, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Hopefully it was all worth it."

Alongside the announcement comes the band's towering new single, Russian Grizzly In America, which serves up deep, guttural English and Russian-language vocals over their signature crushing riffage and explosive drumming. Head below to view the song's humorous video, featuring a cameo from UFC heavyweight fighter Alexander Volkov.

The four-piece previously teased the record with the singles Conflict, Viking, 1984, Behelit and Kid Of Darkness.

Slaughter To Prevail will play this year's Vans Warped Tour, performing in Washington D.C. in June, Long Beach in July, and Orlando in November. They'll also appear at Ohio's Inkcarceration festival in July, Louisville's Louder Than Life in September and Sacramento's Aftershock in October. Tickets are on sale now.
