Scaler have returned with a new single, Broken Entry.
Fusing dense industrial tones with electronica and post-punk influences, the track comes with news that the Bristol four-piece have signed a deal with tastemaker label Black Acre.
It marks their first new music since their 2023 Daniel Avery-produced double a-side single, Loam/New Symbols, and arrives as the band wind down their European tour dates with And So I Watch You From Afar and Robocobra Quartet. Commenting on the track, Scaler said:
"After a year spent locked away in various windowless rooms, Broken Entry is our first offering from the next era of Scaler. We wanted to blow the cobwebs off before we show you what we've been up to."
Scaler will join The Voidz, Hinds, Grove and Tash LC in supporting Idles on the second date of their huge Block Party double-header at Bristol's Queen Square in August. Tickets are on sale now.
Their latest album, 'Void', came out in 2022.
