Ray LaMontagne has announced UK and Ireland shows celebrating 20 years of his debut album, 'Trouble'.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will kick off the tour with two concerts in Dublin May 20 and 21, 2026, before stops in Belfast, Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, Oxford and London, where he'll oonclude the run at the Royal Albert Hall on June 8.
The previously scheduled North American leg of the trek will kick off in Boise, Idaho this August, with dates running through to October 4, when he'll play the third of three nights at New York's Beacon Theatre. Tickets for those gigs are on sale now.
The concerts will see LaMontagne perform 2004's 'Trouble' in full for the first time since its release. A special remastered vinyl edition of the record is also set for release on June 13. He said:
"Twenty years. Two Decades. That’s a lot of water under the bridge. Every cell in my body has changed three times over in that time. I have been three times reborn. There are moments in your life when you need to place a marker. Some people think that it is brave, or fearless, to never look back. I don’t believe that. For the simple reason that if you never look back you will never see how far you have come. This year I place a sign post: twenty years of Trouble."
His most recent album, and ninth overall, 'Long Way Home', was released in 2024.
