Kid Cudi has returned with a new single, Neverland.
Introspective and ethereal, with R&B, folk and pop-rock elements, the track marks the Grammy-winning hip hop artist's first new music of the year, and teases a forthcoming album, though details on that are yet to be revealed.
A companion short film directed by Ti West and produced by Monkeypaw Productions, also titled Neverland, is set to premiere at Tribeca Film Festival in New York City in June. Cudi said:
"Neverland marks the beginning of an exciting new era for me. I’m really proud of this new sound, and I can’t wait for fans—old and new—to experience what’s coming. With the album and the short film premiering at Tribeca, this is just the start of something much bigger."
He released his latest album, and ninth overall, 'Insano', in January 2024. The deluxe edition, 'Nitro Mega', followed in February.
