Kneecap have announced a major show in London for later this year.
The Belfast hip hop trio will headline the OVO Arena Wembley on September 18, marking their biggest headline performance outside of Ireland. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (June 6).
The show will follow the group's summer dates, which include an appearance at Glastonbury Festival later this month, and headline slots at 2000trees in July and Green Man festival in August. They'll also play Dublin’s Fairview Park, three nights at Plymouth Depo in place of a cancelled Eden Sessions show, and a gig at the O2 Academy Glasgow in place of their cancelled TRNSMT festival appearance.
They'll embark on their biggest North American run to date during the fall, before wrapping up the year with two nights at Dublin's 3Arena in December. Tickets are on sale now.
Last month, Kneecap released the single The Recap featuring Mozey, which takes aim at Tory party leader Kemi Badenoch, who has been working to silence Kneecap following political remarks made during their past concerts. Kneecap member Mo Chara was also recently charged with a terror offence after allegedly displaying a flag supporting Hezbollah at a London gig last November.
The track marks their first new material of the year, following their second album, 'Fine Art', and the subsequent semi-biopic film starring Michael Fassbender, both of which arrived in 2024.
