Angel Du$t Sign Deal With Run For Cover Records And Share New Single The Beat

Angel Du$t have returned with a new 7" single.
Leaning into the more aggressive edge of their sound, 'The Beat' features three songs and arrives alongside news that the Baltimore band have signed a deal with Run For Cover Records. Vocalist Justice Tripp said of their new label home:
"It was just so organic and natural. As long as I've been involved with music the RFC people have been friends to me and have been showing me the ropes, but I always kind of thought AD just wasn't their bag and never thought about asking them about putting out our music. Then when it finally came up it just seemed like the most obvious right fit for us. I just hold them in such a high regard, and stylistically they obviously do a lot of different stuff, but I think it really makes sense: they're creative, alternative, sometimes heavy - just like Angel Du$t."
Produced by returning producer and engineer Brian McTernan, who helmed their 2014 debut ‘A.D', the new collection is led by the title track, a sharp two-minute hardcore rager featuring guest vocals from Taylor Young of Twitching Tongues, God's Hate, Deadbody, and Regional Justice Center. The record's b-side features The Knife, a more melodic, psych-rock tinged offering, while physical copies include a cover of Bugg's I Don't Wanna Hear It featuring vocals from Terror's Scott Vogel.
'The Beat' follows the band's 2023 album, 'Brand New Soul', and arrives ahead of their headline slot at the United & Strong Fest in London, and dates in Newcastle and Leeds, all in August. They'll also tour North America in the autumn with Fleshwater, Narrow Head, Ovlov, and more. Tickets are on sale now.
