Jamie xx has returned with a new single, Dream Night.
An atmospheric blend of dreamy yet danceable electronic music, the hypnotic slow-burner has become a highlight among the British producer's summer sets. In a statement, he explained:
"Dream Night is a tune I made while touring 'In Waves' this year. I am so lucky to have many wild and beautiful nights playing around the world to wonderful people and this song came about quite naturally, out of all the amazing nights of music and dancing that I get to experience on and off stage. I’m so grateful for it all and I wanted to share that and hopefully create some more dreamy moments with this song. Thank you!"
The DJ released his sophomore album, 'In Waves', last September, following up 2015's 'In Colour'.
He's currently touring North America, with shows in Brooklyn, Montreal, Denver, Portland and San Francisco still to come. He'll return to Europe in mid-August for a run of headline shows and festival dates. Head here for details. Tickets are on sale now.
