Do What I Want is a high energy dance-pop track that marks the K-Pop superstars' first release as a full six-member group in several years.
It serves as the opening track of their upcoming EP 'The X', their first since 2023's 'Reason', which is due out on September 1. Other songs on the project include N The Front, Savior, Tuscan Leather, Catch Me Now and Fire & Ice.
Since 2021, the group's members have been consecutively enlisting for their mandatory military service in South Korea. Five of the six members have already served, with the youngest, I.M, expected to enlist later this year, though a date has yet to be announced.
Their last full-length album was 2021's 'The Dreaming', though they also put out the 'Shape Of Love' mini album and 'No Limit' in 2023 and, more recently, 'NOW Project Vol. 1' this May. The latter features rerecordings of previously shared tracks.
