Snooper have shared another track from their upcoming sophomore album.

Leaning into the Nashville band's punk roots and propelled by electronic beats, Guard Dog captures the pressure of feeling boxed in by what other people expect of you. Vocalist Blair Tramel explained:

"Guard Dog is about growth. It’s about the discomfort of feeling too comfortable and recognising when to make a change. It’s about second guessing yourself, overthinking, trust and distrust, and keeping it moving. It’s about losing and gaining perspective, having a voice, and learning how to use it. Mostly though, it's about having fun - which is the most important thing."

The cathartic yet chaotic offering marks the second preview of 'Worldwide', due out on October 3 via Third Man Records.

Described as "egg-punk," the band—completed by guitarist Connor Cummins, bassist Happy Haugen, drummer Brad Barteau, and guitarist Conner Sullivan—previously introduced the John Congleton-produced record with the title track last month.

They'll support the LP with dates opening for The Hives on their US tour this fall. Tickets are on sale now.
