Daniel Avery Shares New Single Greasy Off The Racing Line Featuring Alison Mosshart Of The Kills

Daniel Avery has released a new single, Greasy Off The Racing Line.
Serving up his signature psychedelic-electronic sound with shoegaze and industrial elements, the dark and atmospheric offering sees the Bournemouth DJ and producer teaming up with Alison Mosshart of The Kills, who contributes her smoky vocals to the mix. Avery explained:
"In many ways Greasy Off The Racing Line is the oil-soaked central cog of the album. A late-night drive through the darkened roads of the record. I’ve dreamt of working with Alison Mosshart for years - the first Kills music hit at the perfect time in my life, just as I was starting to make my own way out into the nighttime, Alison’s voice literally soundtracking some of my most formative footsteps into the most exciting of worlds. I love everything she has done, she’s as real as they come and it’s an honour to have her be a part of this 'Tremor' collective."
It marks the latest preview of Avery's new album, 'Tremor', following his summer single Rapture In Blue featuring the vocals of Montreal-based Cecile Believe and the guitars of Ride founder and current Oasis member Andy Bell.
He'll release his sixth studio record, and the follow-up to 2022's 'Ultra Truth', on Halloween (October 31), marking his debut for the Domino label. Other guest contributions to the album come from Walter Schreifels of Quicksand, bdrmm, Julie Dawson of NewDad, Yeule, Ellie, Art School Girlfriend, and Yunè Pinku.
Avery will support 'Tremor' with UK and European shows in the autumn. He also has a number of DJ sets in the diary. Tickets are on sale now.
