Lacertilia Announce Third Studio Album 'Transcend' With New Single The Sun Is The Key

Lacertilia have announced their first album in five years.
'Transcend' will arrive on October 24, marking the Cardiff-based rock band's debut for cult Swedish label Majestic Mountain Records, and their first full-length release since 2020's 'Calling The Quarters'.
Alongside the news, the five-piece have shared the record's first single, The Sun Is The Key, which delivers a riff-fuelled blast of pagan space rock. Head below to check out the track's striking video, shot by filmmaker Ren Faulkner at sunrise in the Welsh mountains during this year's Summer Solstice.
To celebrate the album, the band will perform it in full at Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach on release day, with support from Trevor's Head and Cemetery Dogs. The following night, they'll hit The Gryphon in Bristol, joined by Trevor's Head and Cougar Mingus. Tickets are on sale now.
