The Plot In You have released a new single titled Silence.
Exploring ageing and self-growth, the emotionally-charged track fuses metalcore aggression with atmospheric rock and arrives with a video, directed by George Gallardo Kattah. Commenting on the inspiration behind the song, vocalist Landon Tewers explained:
"Silence is a meditation on the feeling of growing older, more confident, and at peace. I wanted to write about my current feeling about existing. Nothing in the song repeats as a metaphor for not treading past waters again and striving take on things that feel uncomfortable."
The Ohio four-piece will embark on a 17-date UK and European tour later in the autumn, featuring support from Currents, Saosin and Cane Hill. They're currently touring North America ahead of festival appearances at Aftershock and When We Were Young next month. Tickets are on sale now.
They released three EPs, titled 'Vol. 1', 'Vol. 2' and 'Vol. 3', last year. Their most recent studio album, and fifth overall, 'Swan Song', dropped in 2021.
