Beverley Knight will hit the road next summer for the Born To Perform Tour.
The award-winning vocalist and actress from Wolverhampton has lined up shows in Ipswich, Sheffield, Nottingham, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Bath, Reading, Gateshead, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Bristol, York, London, Southend, Brighton, Manchester, Cardiff, Cambridge and Wolverhampton between June 2 and 30.
The concerts will see Knight accompanied by a live band to perform her biggest hits, as well as her favourite musical theatre numbers and songs that have inspired her over the years. She said:
“I’m excited to get back on the road but with a different kind of show folk are used to with me. ‘Born to Perform’ is me taking you on a journey through my life on both music and theatre stages, using my memories and of course my songs. I’m stripping back my sound so the audience can lean in a little closer and really hear my soul.”
Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Friday (October 10).
The English singer-songwriter released her latest album, 'The Fifth Chapter', back in 2023. She has, however, put out standalone singles and collaborations since then, including Never Say Never with Billy Porter this April and Texting At Midnight with Hayley Zalassi in June.
