Stella Donnelly has shared a new single, Year Of Trouble.
Built around minimal instrumentation, the stripped back, piano-driven ballad follows her earlier tracks Feel It Change, Baths and Standing Ovation in previewing her new album, 'Love And Fortune', which arrives on November 7. She said:
"This one is all heart no ego, all pain no gain. I originally tried to make this a dance-floor heartbreak but I was being too ambitious and overthinking it. Julia [Wallace] helped me figure out that I just needed to play it by myself."
Alongside the new song, the Australian singer-songwriter has announced tour dates for next year, with shows lined up across Australia from February 19 to March 6 with support from Ullah, followed by UK and European dates between March 19 and April 2, on which she'll be joined by Jack Caby.
Tickets for the Australian dates are already on sale, while the UK and European shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (October 10).
