'The Burden of Empathy' is set for release in April next year, though an exact date has not yet been confirmed, and is introduced by the York trio's new single Transgressions, which blends elements of indie-rock and indie-pop with emotive lyrics and soaring vocals. Frontman Zach Lount said:
"Transgressions is an open and honest song about myself and how I never really got along with the normalities in our culture, always getting into trouble, not having any luck and being on the outside of society until I fell in love and stopped resisting society and just accepted who I am."
