Five Reasons Why Luke Combs' My Kinda Saturday Night Tour Is The Hottest Ticket Around

How many nights at Wembley Stadium is too many? Silly question, especially if you’re Luke Combs looking at your diary for next summer. The country star’s upcoming My Kinda Saturday Night Tour has been one of the buzziest tickets around of late, with dates selling out left right and centre. He’s set to play three nights at Wembley, following up two at Slane Castle in Ireland and two at Murrayfield in Edinburgh, and could have played a whole bunch more if time allowed for it. Here, we take a look at five reasons why Combs is the man to see live in 2026. Head here to find tickets through Stereoboard.

Strong Roots

Growing up in North Carolina, Combs’ first introduction to country music came in the backseat of his mother’s car as a young child. In an interview with AXS he recalled traversing the streets of Charlotte while soaking up songs by artists such as Vince Gill, whom he notes was also his first concert, Brooks & Dunn and Garth Brooks. His later move to Nashville after dropping out of college to pursue music might seem like a leap in a geographical sense but it was rooted in his very earliest musical memories.

The Voice

When his debut single Hurricane was released almost 10 years ago, Combs’ voice was its point of difference. Amid its scorching guitar licks and stomping, pickup truck-primed drums, it cut through with something as vulnerable as it was anthemic. His work in the intervening years has only made this reality clearer, with refinements to his sound bringing out something that moves way beyond the realms of country radio. His crossover success has been founded upon the fact that his voice — as big, bold and powerful as it is — has something eminently relatable about it.

A Proven Track Record

From Hurricane onwards, Combs has been remarkably consistent when it comes to crafting country hits. And it’s not like he’s slow about it, either. Since 2014 he’s put out five albums and four EPs, plus more than 20 singles (not counting glitzy duets with everyone from Post Malone and Ed Sheeran to his pals from mom’s car radio, Brooks & Dunn). Almost all of them have become chart staples and the meat for a live show that’s now one of the biggest in the world, with Hurricane, She Got The Best of Me, Beautiful Crazy and When It Rains It Pours all going Diamond in the US after shifting more than 10 million equivalent units.

That Grammys Performance

Combs was already a big name by the time his cover of Fast Car became a runaway success in 2023, but his duet with its writer, Tracy Chapman, at the Grammys the following year took him to new heights. If his love of country can be traced back to his mother’s car, it was his dad’s radio that first introduced him to Chapman’s music, and his admiration for her as an artist was written all over this performance. Trading verses of this uniquely heartbreaking pop classic in front of some of the biggest stars in the world — yes, that’s Taylor Swift singing along — while smiling at each other and obviously having the best time, they stole the show.

He’s Been Away For A While

With two young kids at home and a lot more road left to travel in front of him, Combs has been relatively quiet of late. His 2025 has been largely about cropping up at festivals while teasing a new record to come next year, with Back in the Saddle emerging in the summer ahead of the three-track package ‘The Prequel’, a taster of what’s to come. His last UK and Ireland tour was back in 2023, when he wrapped up live duties on his fourth LP ‘Gettin’ Old’ with two nights at the O2 Arena in London. By the time the My Kinda Saturday Night Tour gets underway next summer, excitement will be at fever pitch.
